In order to ease the access to information about the agenda and children's admission to subsidized nurseries, the Social Welfare Bureau (SWB) will publish the related information on its website (www.ias.gov.mo) on February 27^th, www.ias.gov.mo

Parents/guardians,who intend to apply for services in subsidized nurseries for their children born in 2015 or after, can consult the admission arrangements of all subsidized nurseries and submit the application to relevant nurseries during the period of April and May of 2017. In recent years, the SWB has been working to ensure that nurseries promotea convenient and efficient way of providing admissions information to the parents/guardians. In 2017, among the 36 subsidized Macau nurseries, a total of 31 started to accept online registration, and 5 others allow to upload the registration form on the website of the general association that they belong to, in order to make easier the application process of the children according to their respective ages.

The SWB advises parents/guardians to consider the physical and mental development of children and the real needs of families when choosing type of care for their children. For children under 2 years of age, whenever conditions allow, it is better to let them stay under family care.
